Mini Biography : Green Day was formed in California in 1989 as a punk
band. Their first two albums (39/Smooth and Kerplunk) made them
relatively popular. But Green Day became really famous in 1994 when they
released several number one hit songs and albums – Dookie, J. A. R.
and Brain Stew/Jaded. After that the band has been keeping up the good
form, recording an album every two or three years. |
