Mini Biography : Edward Hopper (born in 1882) was a painter and a
commercial illustrator. He concentrated on American subjects, such as small
towns’ everyday life. This made his reputation as an American realist painter,
however some of his works seem to anticipate Pop Art. Hopper achieved some
success in his life, but when he died in 1967, he was almost completely
forgotten. |
