Mini Biography : Titian was born around 1485 in Pieve di Cadore, Italy.
He started painting as a student of Giovanni Bellini, but he was mainly
influenced by Giorgione, whom he assisted in creating the external fresco
decoration of the Fondaco dei Tedeschi. Titian’s style changed with time,
weighing more and more toward Mannerism and use of colors instead of clear
lines. |
