Mini Biography : Leonetto Cappiello, often called “the father of the
Modern Poster”, was born in Leghorn in 1875, but he lived and worked in Paris.
He started as a caricaturist, but he soon concentrated on creating posters,
which quickly made him famous. His original art, full of exaggerated color and
situations, shocks and awes even now. |
